I was staying in the EU quadrant of town which is almost all ministry buildings & it looks more like this -

Never assume that the US has a monopoly on concrete jungles  ;-)

 

Monte Carlo, Monaco -

On a more interesting note, I also spent a week in Monte Carlo for a conference.   Here's the de rigeuer shot of the Grand Casino - the backdrop to many James Bond flicks over the years -

Bentley of Monaco was right next door to Lamborghini of Monaco, of course.   

And not too far from there, one of Monte Carlo's famous Marina's

It's tough to look at these picts and remind myself how much I hate travelling for work  ;-)
